Asking supermarkets to prioritise healthy food really doesn\u2019t address the problem of junk food. \u00a0It\u2019s the takeaway industry that supplies most of this – the likes of McDonalds, Greg\u2019s, KFC, Burger King, coco cola. \u00a0They advertise freely and try to attract children who then become addicted-yes addicted, as there is good evidence that these foods are addictive. \u00a0Surely it would be more effective simply to stop these companies advertising, as a first step, than what is proposed. \u00a0I suspect that vested interests makes this unlikely, or am I just being cynical?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
