Moved to Southampton, staying in a grotty flat with a bathroom accessed through their lounge. Got a job at Calor Gas where I worked all the hours I could to save for my MSc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Started my MSc in Oceanography at the University of Southampton. Befriended Stuart White and together we searched for suitable accommodation – finding Bowden House in Bursledon and inviting Ken Massie and David Cram to join us. Ken brought along Frank as an extra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James born in Southampton General Hospital after 28 hours labour. Weight 10 lbs 10 oz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
