700 g fish – mixture of smoked, white & shell is good
2 hardboiled eggs
100g butter
50g flour
1 tablespoon capers
cup milk
½ lemon juice
(optional) 3-4 large leeks
1 kg potatoes
25g grated cheese
put fish in open dish pour over half the milk and put in oven for 20 mins
fry leeks in butter add flour add remainder of milk to make rue the add juice strained off fish.
break up the fish and add white sauce + leeks if you’ve used them
boil and mash potatoes and spread over dish
sprinkle cheese and bake in oven about 200°C for ½ an hour
