Red Cabbage with Apples

1 small red cabbage
2 cooking apples
1 onion
1 tablespoon golden syrup
2 tablespoon malt vinegar
50g butter
Juice 1/2 Lemon

Fry chopped onion in butter until golden. Add chopped cabbage, apple, juice and vinegar and cook over gentle heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
